Gao Wenyuan

Gao Wenyuan is a Vice-Speaker of the Hulian People’s Assembly. Born in Shiquan in Heilongjiang Province, he worked throughout his career in public finance and budgeting, serving as Deputy Director-General of the Heilongjiang finance department, chairman of the provincial assembly's finance committee, and from 2010 on the Assembly's Budget Committee before becoming Vice-Minister of Finance in 2017. He has been a Vice-Speaker since March 2024, with responsibility for budget review and oversight of final accounts.
