National Development Commission 护联国家发展委员会
The National Development Commission is the department of the Central Government responsible for medium- and long-term national economic and social development planning, comprehensive investment management and macroeconomic policy coordination.
Main functions
- Draft the medium- and long-term plans and annual plans for national economic and social development and advance their implementation.
- Coordinate macroeconomic policy and submit proposals on aggregate balance, structural adjustment and high-quality development.
- Administer the approval, authorisation and filing of fixed-asset investment projects and supervise the execution of public investment plans.
- Draft and supervise price policy and administer the prices of important goods and services.
- Coordinate coordinated development among the provincial-level divisions and regional policy, and draft regional development plans.
- Administer statistical work in Hulian, conduct statistical surveys and publish economic and social statistics.
- Advance the opening of public data and the management of data resources, and guide the establishment of basic data systems in Hulian.
- Undertake other matters assigned by the Central Government.
